Grover and friend explain marriage, beat supreme court by six years
Now if only they’d just tell us the way to get to Sesame Street already. Seriously, it’s been decades.
If you know anyone who is confused by the ramifications of the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on marriage equality, you should show them this video, courtesy of Sesame Street… from 2009.
Grover takes a bit of time out with his friend Jesse, and decides to ask him what marriage is. Despite the fact that Jesse uses a form of the word to define the word (c’mon, bruh, that’s just shoddy work), he otherwise nails the definition.
Grover seems like he couldn’t agree more, and neither could we. Watch below:
