Lets taco-bout these new emojis
If you don’t use these new emojis, I’m nacho friend.
The public has made a lot of emoji demands. We’ve shown our society’s diversity through emojis. We may soon be able to lock our phones with emojis. But still, with every emoji-update, there are more emoji-requests.
At least one desperate emoji-need is being fulfilled. The taco emoji is coming.
The want for a taco emoji has spurred such activism as t-shirts to a Change.org petition. Today that call has been answered, according to Emojipedia. But we might still have to wait.
The site confirmed that 37 new emoji characters will be added to Unicode 8.o June 17, but doesn’t promise that operating systems like Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android will add the taco to their emoji collections. Future updates will likely include some of these new submissions, but alas, we’re still at the mercy of that little system update notification.
