Renee Rapp, Ed Sheeran make an appearance at Celtics playoffs game

The big-name artists are in town for Boston Calling this weekend.

Renee Rapp sang about hating Boston, but apparently not enough to stay away from a Celtics game. 

The singer of “I Hate Boston” and singer Ed Sheeran both stopped by to see the Celtics play the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals Thursday night while they’re in town for Boston Calling. 

Pictures posted on the Celtics’ Instagram showed Rapp and Sheeran sitting together courtside, with Sheeran sporting bright green sneakers. 

Another post was dedicated just to Sheeran, who was shown trying on Celtics merch.

Rapp and Sheeran are scheduled to perform at the Harvard Athletic Complex on Friday.
