Bauman participated in the Runner’s World Classic Celebrity Mile at Merrimack College in Andover on Saturday morning, along with survivor Adrianne Haslet and Carlos Arredondo, also known as “the man in the cowboy hat,” who was photographed pushing Bauman in a wheelchair after the explosions.

On Saturday, Bauman pushed Arredondo, who was in a wheelchair, over the race’s finish line. (Arredondo recently had leg surgery, according to The Boston Globe.)

Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans, former Patriot Max Lane, and famed marathoner Dick Hoyt—known for running the Boston Marathon with his wheelchair-bound son, Rick, more than 30 times—also ran the Celebrity Mile.
