Sunday fun is on its way.
The SoWa Open Market will debut May 5 this year, bringing live music, food, art, and special events to Boston’s South End for the 16th season.
This year’s market will feature more than 175 makers, as well as live music, lawn games, food trucks, and the return of the SoWa Beer Garden, with brewers that include Fiddlehead Brewing Company, Banded Brewing, Finback Brewery, and more, the market announced Monday in a press release.

Special events this season will include a Mother’s Day rosé pop-up with The Urban Grape and an Oktoberfest party hosted by Schilling Beer Company. Visitors will once again have access to instructional classes led by SoWa vendors during the market’s DIY Workshop series. Charity partnerships will bring performances by Urbanity Dance, interactive painting with Artists for Humanity, and more.
The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday from May to October.
