This 2019 Boston Marathon gear will help you show your city spirit

As the city gears up for the 123rd running of the Boston Marathon, companies are releasing special shoes and clothing inspired by this year’s race that will help you gear up in a different, literal way. Here are seven products designed to keep Boston on your mind as well as your body this racing season.

You can show your support for the Boston Marathon and the environment with this Adidas Boston Marathon Celebration Jacket, a lightweight blue jacket with yellow stripes made of recycled polyester that the company is calling “a must-have iconic running jacket for Boston Marathon fans and athletes.” The jacket features a stand-up collar to help battle the wind and a mesh-lined body. Waltham-based Saucony has once again teamed up with Dunkin’ for a special-edition shoe, the Saucony x Dunkin’ Kinvara 10. This year’s shoe has graphics inspired by the new product packaging at Dunkin’, as well as a strawberry-frosted doughnut medallion on the laces, Dunkin’ coffee cups on the tongue, and the word ‘Boston’ on a reflective strip — all packaged in a custom shoebox resembling a Dunkin’s doughnut box, of course. Brooks Running Company channeled Boston’s iconic subway system for this shoe, which features a map of the T on the sneaker. “We love that the maps of the city streets and infamous subway system speak to the experience of running and racing in Boston, and that we can give a wink to our past iterations of the shoe with a few playful lobsters on the shoe,” said Brice Newton, director of footwear merchandising for the company, in a statement.
