Here’s proof that spring is finally upon us in Boston
The duck boats have been unleashed into the wild.
If you think you spotted a duck boat somewhere in Boston yesterday, you’re not going quacky–the iconic Boston Duck Tours attraction reopened Tuesday, kicking off their 2016 season.
After a spring snowstorm delayed the opening of the tours, the service officially opened for business on Tuesday. And though the tours have only been running for one day, some attentive locals managed to catch glimpses of the amphibian boats as they scooted around town.

The Boston Duck Tours carry riders all throughout town, even letting them float along the Charles River. According to The Boston Globe, the 12-year-old company conducts around 140 tours a day during peak season, serving an average of 4,500 passengers across 28 boats.

Soon enough, it will be tough to go outside in Boston without being a stone’s throw from a duck boat. Just another sign that spring has sprung.
