Boston Twitter was full of very bleak humor during today’s MBTA delays
Aka, the MBTApocalypse.
The MBTA experienced major delays Thursday morning. A combination of Amtrak signal problems that interfered with commuter rail service and a disabled train at South Station led to mayhem across multiple lines. Think: crowded platforms, jam-packed cars, and trains that moved at a glacial pace.
And in the face of adversity, Bostonians coped with humor:

Some folks reported that their commute took an extra hour. And the commuter rail urged passengers to take alternative transportation to work. Like walking, perhaps?
