Want to look like Tom Brady? Too bad. But try his 4 style tips anyway.
They’re really not that hard!
Esquire published a one-on-one interview with Tom Brady Thursday, but for once, football wasn’t the main topic. Instead, Brady and writer Luke O’Neil talked about Brady’s passion for fashion.
Non-Patriots fans may rip Brady for his long hair experimentation or sponsorship deal with UGG, but Brady has never let the jokes bother him. These days, all the Patriots players have UGG footwear thanks to Brady — though he worries about how much wool the company has to use for Patriots with especially huge feet.
“I joke, whenever we get Uggs made for my team, I’m like, how many sheep are they shearing for those size 17s?’’ Brady said in the interview. “14 pairs of size 17s.’’
Sheep haircuts aside, here are four style tips for dudes from Brady that will help you reach your sartorial peak.
— Try changing your hair up once in awhile.
“There are some people I see that I went to college with that have the same haircuts they had in college. I’m like, ‘Man, change it up a little bit!’’’
— Look to the women in your life for inspiration.
“Women, they put so much more thought into the thing that they’re wearing: the moisturizer they put on their face, the makeup they wear, the jewelry they wear.’’
— Pick out one item of clothing, and build from there.
“Sometimes you’re looking in your closet and you find something. Like there’s a sweater, and you say, ‘Oh I want to wear that. What’s going to go with that?’ Or, ‘I want to wear this jacket. What can I wear with that?’’’
— Wash your face. Seriously.
“You represent yourself by the way that you look, the way that you act, the way that you speak. …. I think hygiene is so important.’’
