25 places to land big deals in the South End tonight
Oh, hey, did you hear that it’s gift-buying season?
If you missed Small Business Saturday, fret not: Boston’s South End, home to many local shops and eateries, is holding its annual one-night holiday event Wednesday to promote spending locally.
More than 30 South End businesses will host their own deals, promotions, and giveaways from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of the neighborhood’s Shop Local Dine Local Night.
Mayor Marty Walsh will be there to help push his “5 on Main’’ initiative, a program that encourages folks to spend locally during the holidays.
