Woman shares photo of bloodstained top in harrowing Facebook post detailing Paris attacks
“It was just a Friday night at a rock show.’’
In the wake of the shootings at Bataclan on Friday night, many took to Facebook to express their condolences and solidarity with Paris. Isobel Bowdery took to Facebook as well — writing that she had been inside the music venue and paying tribute to those who were killed.
“Last night, the lives of many were forever changed and it is up to us to be better people.’’ Bowdery wrote.
Since she originally posted on Saturday, the message has spread internationally, accumulating more than 2.5 million likes, 760,000 shares, and hundreds of comments from supporters worldwide. Bowdery’s post has been picked up by numerous news outlets and shared so widely that her friend requests have since maxed out. Boston.com has attempted to reach out to Bowdery.
