American Airlines had the perfect response to a complaint about their rainbow flag logo
A passenger had a gripe about a flight delay, but then the conversation shifted.
Boston’s 45th Pride Parade was this past weekend, but the LGBT-support isn’t over. Pride was recently shown in an unexpected place recently: the American Airlines’ Twitter account.
After Nathan Lorick, the director of Evangelism for Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (according to his account), tweeted to the company, a customer-service complaint turned into a showing of solidarity from the airline.
Sunday night, Lorick tweeted to the official American Airlines account to voice his passenger woes, Buzzfeed posted.

But after the airline’s account responded…

…the topic of the conversation shifted to the American Airlines avatar.

Which Lorick wasn’t too happy about…

…But the airline’s Twitter account’s response showed the company didn’t really care, with a classic “I’m sorry you were upset’’ apology.

Kudos, American Airlines. It’s one kind of win when official Twitter accounts actually reply, but it’s a whole different kind of victory when they do it with this much attitude.
