The most recent nor’easter to sweep across the Greater Boston area has resulted in school closures throughout the area, and the city seems to be getting off to a slow start on Thursday morning.

Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, as well as the JFK Presidential Library and Museum, have announced that they’ll be closed Thursday.

The Museum of Science and Boston Children’s Museum, however, will still be ready for business after morning delays.

If you planned to squeeze the last bit out of winter with an ice skating trip to the Frog Pond, you’ll want to rethink things. The pond announced that it will be closed Thursday in the form of a haiku.

Want to spend a day around animals? Stone Zoo will be closed, but Franklin Park Zoo opens at noon.

Doing a bit of shopping on Thursday is an option, as long as you plan to do so in the afternoon.

Libraries in Brookline will open at 11 a.m.

Brattle Book Shop will be open, but its outdoor sale lot, understandably, will be closed.
