November/December 2014 cover!

As we celebrate our eighth anniversary with an issue (on newsstands and online next week) filled with beautiful spaces, we’re happy to find that big ideas do indeed come in all shapes and sizes. Our cover story tells the tale of a house that is only 232 square feet, just enough space for Vermonter Ethan Waldman to be happy. Architect Stephanie Horowitz, aware of her carbon footprint, embraces city living and family life by renovating a condo in Boston’s North End, and a tough lot in Burlington, Vermont, was thoughtfully developed to accommodate a 124-room hotel. Then, we called in the party pros and threw ourselves a fun fuss-free birthday soiree. Here’s to another year of great design.
