This Weekend: Don’t miss the Newport Secret Garden Tours
We featured the magnificent garden at Bellevue House in Newport, Rhode Island, in our new issue (Newport Follies) — but if seeing the flora and fancy in our pages isn’t enough, don’t fret. Bellevue House is just one of many on the Newport Secret Garden Tour, “On and Off the Avenue,” happening this weekend!
The self-guided tour is an exclusive (and fully legal) way to explore the stunning private gardens in the area. The tour runs September 9–11, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $25, available at Newport Visitor’s Center, 23 America’s Cup Ave., or Kingscote Mansion, 253 Bellevue Ave., or $20 in advance from secretgardentours.org.
