This is what rooftop yoga with an amazing view of Boston looks like

Boston is an outdoor fitness hub—paddleboarding in the Charles and bootcamp on Spectacle Island are just two options that come to mind—and the opportunities to work out in the fresh air only multiply once the summertime sun emerges. To wit: yoga is available on the roof of the Colonnade Hotel with instructor and author Rebecca Pacheco; yogis can get in some early morning exercise while taking in an amazing view of the city.

Bright and early Monday, Boston.com went live with Pacheco at the Colonnade, where her class takes place right by the hotel’s seasonal pool, for some yoga flow to jumpstart Boston.com’s Wellness Week. Pacheco demonstrated some of poses herself before leading a group of yogis for a brief session.

Starting July 5, Pacheco’s rooftop yoga class will take place at the Colonnade on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 a.m. It’s $15 for just the yoga class, or $40 for yoga plus a day at the pool. Namaste.

People practice yoga on the rooftop pool deck at the Colonnade Hotel on June 27.
