This summer, ultraluxe fitness club Equinox is offering a new outdoor workout series. One Sunday every month through September, an Equinox instructor will teach a top-of-the-line group fitness class at the Lawn on D. You don’t even have to be an Equinox member to participate.
All classes will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., according to a press release. The schedule:
Sunday, June 26
The Cut, which Equinox calls a “primal, powerful, music-driven workout that takes boxing to a whole new level”
Sunday, July 17
Best Abs Ever/Best Butt Ever
Sunday, August 21
METCON3, aka a “high-intensity metabolic conditioning workout”
Sunday, September 11
Vinyasa Yoga
Admission is free for Equinox members. Non-members are asked to donate $15 to Cycle for Survival, which raises money for research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.. All participants must bring their game faces.
