10 Yoga Poses for Thanksgiving Travel Hell
It’s time for the hell that is Thanksgiving travel week. But while you’re stuck in traffic, trapped on the tarmac, or confined to a concourse, take 10 minutes to stretch and most importantly: Breathe.
On the busiest travel week of the year, all of the sitting, steaming, and stressing on the highway and in the airports can leave your body tense and twisted up. To prepare, Boston.com’s Alexa Pozniak paid a visit to Ginger Boermeester, the owner of Roots Yoga in Burlington, Mass.
Try out her recommended poses to lengthen your spin, stretch your hips, and loosen your grip on the steering wheel. Then, once you arrive at your destination, pop in Planes, Trains and Automobiles to laugh away the rest of the travel stress.
