3 Massachusetts designers join cast of Project Runway
Massachusetts will have another chance to win Project Runway after a disappointing loss for Boston fans when local designer Kelly Dempsey ended season 14 of the reality show as the runner-up. Three Massachusetts-based designers will be joining the cast of Project Runway season 15, airing on September 15, Entertainment Weekly revealed Monday.

Nathalia JMag, 23, of Framingham, Cornelius Ortiz, 24, of Boston, and Erin Robertson, 29, of Cambridge, will showcase their designs in weekly challenges on the Lifetime TV show.
JMag specializes in ready to wear, leisure wear, outerwear, and special occasion clothing, according to her website. She said she aims to create an eco-friendly brand in the future and wants her clothes to stand out from the crowd.
Ortiz studied fashion at Framingham State University from 2011 to 2015, and textile design at the Accademia Italiana in Florence, Italy. He aims to emphasize individuality and uniqueness through his designs and is inspired by landscape, according to his website.
Robertson studied fashion design and fibers at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, according to her website. She won the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s (CFDA) $25,000 Teen Vogue Target Scholar award in May 2013, The Boston Globe reported. She was also elected one of the Globe’s Most Stylish Bostonians.
Guest judges for season 15 will include former Newton resident Priyanka Chopra, among other notable celebrities, according to Entertainment Weekly.
