Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars are undeniably classic sneakers that have gone virtually unchanged since first introduced in 1917—except, of course, when Chuck Taylor’s signature was added in 1932. Now, the Boston-based sneaker company is set to unveil an updated version of the iconic footwear, called the Chuck Taylor II, later this month.
While we’re waiting, lets take a look at some other shoe companies that have ties to the New England area. From Bean Boots to boat shoes, New England lays claim to multiple footwear classics.
