Who Wore a $89.99 Gown from Target to the CFDA Awards?
If you’ve been searching for the perfect black tie wedding guest dress for under $100, just stop right now.
Target’s director of design partnerships Noria Morales debuted a dress from the top secret Joseph Altuzarra capsule collection at last night’s CFDA Fashion Awards. The floor-grazing gown may not have made it into our list of 10 Looks to Talk About from the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards — but it’s pretty darn good. With a striking orchid graphic print and sleek side slit, the gown oozes all of the sexy sophistication we predicted will come from the designer’s upcoming Target collaboration. It also happens to retail for $89.99.

Altuzarra walked away with the esteemed Womenswear Designer of the Year award at last night’s CFDA ceremony, beating out veteran designers Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs. The 30-year-old designer joins the ranks of fellow CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year winners Tom Ford, Proenza Schouler, and Oscar de la Renta. His womenswear and accessories capsule collection for Target is due in stores and Net-A-Porter.com September 14.
