Runners and enthusiasts alike hopped aboard a ferry for the 2019 Island Run, a race around Spectacle Island held Sept. 21.

The sixth annual event, hosted by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and powered by Boston.com, included a 5K and a five-mile race, awards, and post-race celebrations.
