Here’s your chance to zipline along the Greenway
A 200-foot zipline inspired by an attraction at a Florida theme park is coming to Dewey Square this weekend.
The aerial activity is part of a promotion from Experience Kissimmee, a tourism group aiming to drive chilly New Englanders to the Florida city near Orlando. In addition to the zipline, the group will bring live alligators from Gatorland Orlando, an airboat for selfies, and a Crayola coloring tent.
The attractions are all free, but organizers ask that guests bring a gently used coat, which will be donated to a local charity.
The family-friendly event visited Chicago last year.
On Sat-Mon this zip line will be in Dewey Square for you to zip for free, compliments of @Kissimmee, FL! #ZipBoston https://t.co/VA7Kgk8Ma2 pic.twitter.com/fJxVG6ng28
