Seaport Sangria Smackdown

Sangria zealots, this event really couldn’t get more important to your interests. The Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center is hosting the second edition of its sangria competition, pitting bars and restaurants from all over the Seaport against each other. It’s the sangria overload you always wanted. (Thursday, June 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; The Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center; $20; 21+)

ICA’s First June Friday

As part of the Institute of Contemporary Art’s “First Fridays” summer party series, they’re opening their patio for an outdoor soiree that overlooks the harbor with cocktails, a DJ, and dancing. This month’s theme is “Caribbean Dream.” (Friday, June 3 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; The Institute of Contemporary Art; free for members, $15 for non-members; 21+)

Beyonce at Gillette

Fresh off the release of her new visual album, Lemonade, Queen Bey is bring her world tour to Gillette. Get ??  in ??  formation ??  . (Friday, June 3 at 7:30 p.m.; Gillette Stadium; resell tickets start at $85; all ages)

Free Intro to Rowing from Boston University

Get a lesson in rowing right on the Charles River this weekend from people who actually know what they’re doing. All you need is your body and a flotation device (which they’ll provide). No experience necessary (phew). (Saturday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; DeWolfe Boathouse; free if you sign-up; ages 12+)

Coolidge Corner Arts Festival

In addition to shopping lots of different creations by over 70 local artists, the Coolidge Corner Arts Festival is hosting food trucks like Daddy’s Bonetown Burgers, The Chubby Chickpea, The Dining Car, and more. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase, and a DJ will perform during the day. (Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 pm.; 345 Harvard Street, Brookline; free; all ages)

Flavor Lounge

The Somerville Arts Council teamed up with PA’s Lounge to put together a global pop-up dining series, Flavor Lounge, every Saturday in June. In this week’s edition, participants can build their own Venezuelan Arepas plate with lots of different fillings. (Saturday, June 4 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.; PA’s Lounge, Somerville; $10; all ages)

JP Spring Flea

Find lots of gifts and artwork made by local and Latin American artists. More than 50 vendors will be at the market over the course of two days, including BUFU Records, Woven Womyn, Purgatory Ltd., and more. (Saturday, June 4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 5 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Spontaneous Celebrations, Jamaica Plain; free to attend; all ages)

Franklin Park Zoo’s Wine Tasting

More wine! Franklin Park Zoo will host vendors like Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, Barton & Guestier, Vela Wines, and more for its annual “uncorked” tasting. The zoo is even closing early at 4 p.m. to accommodate the event, it’s just that good. (Saturday, June 4 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Franklin Park Zoo; $55; 21+)

Lululemon’s Yogathon

Lululemon is hosting a huge, 12-hour yogathon at its Chestnut Hill location. All you gotta do is make a donation to Bodhi & Mind Yoga, which offers therapy to breast cancer patients, or TriYoga Boston, a non-profit out of Waltham, to participate. See the full program here. Fort Point Festival

Celebrate the great outdoors (as in, the waterfront) at Fort Point with food tastings, Trillium Brewing’s beer garden, artwork, and a corn hole competition (emphasis on corn hole competition).
