1. Head of the Charles Regatta The Head of the Charlies is our can’t-miss event of the week, one of those things that’s just quintessentially Boston. It’s your annual excuse to either become a rowing fan or pretend you’re an Ivy Leaguer. (Saturday at 8 a.m. to Sunday at 5 p.m.; Charles River; free; all ages)

2. Kickstarter Film Festival Thirty-two theaters nationwide will screen features, documentaries, and shorts that were funded right from Kickstarters. We’re talking everything from Sundance hits to award-winners to animation. (Thursday at 7:30 p.m.; The Brattle Theatre, Cambridge; free admission)

3. Lululemon Warehouse SaleAn enormous, highly-anticipated shopping throwdown for the athletic brand is happening over the course of three days (the Facebook event even anticipates that some will fly into town for this). (Friday-Sunday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; Hynes Convention Center; free entry)

4. Wang Theater Open House Discover a historic Boston venue by perusing old photos and film, entering to win free tickets to future events, even leaving your mark by signing “the wall’’ backstage. (Friday at 2 p.m.; Citi Performing Arts Center, Wang Theatre; free; all ages)

5. McDonald’s All Day Breakfast Pajama Party McDonald’s is so pumped about serving breakfast all day that they’ll be dishing out free Egg McMuffins and coffee for those who come dressed in their PJs (and those who don’t, too). (Friday at 11 a.m.; City Hall Plaza; free; all ages)

6. 5th Annual Drag Gospel Festival Get a dose of the Gospel while checking out some of the best drag performers in Boston and helping to raise money for the LGBT Asylum Support Task Force. (Friday at 6 p.m.; Club Cafe; suggested $20 donation; all ages)

7. Drink Craft Beer’s Beer & Cider Fest This festival is celebrating its third birthday and putting fall flavors in your cup from 15 local breweries and 10 local cideries. (Friday at 6 p.m. to Saturday at 9:30 p.m.; Space 57 at the Revere Hotel; $50; 21+)

8. Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo 2015 The fifth annual festival welcomes more than 150 exhibitors for a weekend-long celebration of DIY comic culture. (Saturday at 10 a.m. to Sunday at 5 p.m.; University Hall at Lesley University; free; all ages)

9. Wicked Wine Fest Network, socialize, and sip divine reds and whites in the South End. (Saturday at 12 p.m.; South End Cyclorama; $59+; 21+)

10. SuicideGirls: Blackheart Burlesque The ever-popular burlesque group spends a show poking fun at your favorite parts of nerd culture, like Game of Thrones, The Big Lebowski, Planet of the Apes, and Star Wars. (Sunday at 8 p.m.; The Middle East, Cambridge; $25+)
