‘SNL’ recap: Best moments from Harry Styles hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’
Pop star and former One Direction singer Harry Styles pulled double duty on the March 14 episode of "Saturday Night Live," serving as both host and musical guest.
“SNL” returned to the air for the 15th episode of its 51st season on Saturday, March 14, with Harry Styles pulling double duty as host and musical guest.
Styles was serving dual roles as host and musical guest for the second time, having previously pulled off the double act in 2019. His “SNL” career goes back even further, however, having performed as a musical guest four times — three with his former group, One Direction (2012, 2013, 2014), and once as a solo act (2017).
Styles gave viewers a taste of his comic chops during last week’s Ryan Gosling-hosted episode as well, showing up in the audience during Gosling’s opening monologue and sending the “Barbie” star into a self-confidence tailspin.
Gosling returned the favor, popping up at Studio 8H to introduce Styles’ first musical performance, “Dance No More,” off his latest album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.”
