“SNL” returned to the air for the latest episode in its 50th season on Saturday, May 3, with Quinta Brunson serving as host and musical guest Benson Boone.

Brunson was hosting “Saturday Night Live” for a second time, following her Season 48 debut on April Fools’ Day in 2023. The star of “Abbott Elementary” is small but mighty, which the 4’11 star used as the subject of her opening monologue.

After comparing herself to cardboard cutouts of other shorties like Simone Biles (4’8), Kendrick Lamar (5’5), and Tom Holland (5’7), Brunson brought out the real Sabrina Carpenter (5’0) for a side-by-side comparison. Also making a cameo was 6’4 Dwyane Wade, who assured Brunson that he was short by NBA standards.

Speaking of the sports world, Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson got roasted during the political cold open.

President Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson) signed a series of absurd executive orders, including the Belichick Law, which will “make it socially acceptable for a man in his 70s to date a 24-year-old.”

“That’s right, we’re calling it the Belichick law,” Johnson said. “We’re gonna make girlfriends young again. Old men can now date far younger women.”
