After a prolonged absence, Kenny Chesney is returning to Gillette Stadium for a pair of 2022 concerts.

The country star announced that he will perform at the home of the New England Patriots on Friday, August 26, 2022, and Saturday, August 27, 2022, after being forced to delay planned summer shows in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

In previous years, Gillette Stadium has typically served as the final stop for Chesney’s tours, and 2022 will be no different. Chesney’s Here and Now stadium tour, which will feature fellow country stars Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce, kicks off April 23 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay and will conclude at Gillette with the August 26 and 27 shows.

“When we realized we weren’t getting to spend 2020 with No Shoes Nation, I never thought it would be three years until I would see my most favorite people in the world,” Chesney said in a press release. “My favorite place in the world is anywhere we all come together. They come strong. They get loud. They love the music. But most importantly, they live life – every second – for all its worth! They inspire me, and I want to get out there and get going, creating the greatest night of the summer every time we hit the stage.”

Fans who already bought tickets to Chesney’s twice-delayed stadium show in 2020 or 2021 will remain in their current seats. Tickets for Friday’s show are available starting at $66 on Ticketmaster, while a mix of new tickets and verified resale tickets for Saturday’s show are currently selling for $123 and up.
