Larry David as Bernie Sanders argues against the use of the hand sanitizer Purell: "I got a bottle of that junk and on the label it says it kills 99.99% of germs. What happens to the top .01%? Why are we protecting them?"

Last night’s “SNL” opened with a White House press conference held by none other than Vice President Mike Pence (Beck Bennett) to heed the general public about the spread of coronavirus.

An ensemble of familiar faces from the Beltway appear to field questions, including Ben Carson (Keenan Thompson), and Democratic presidential candidates Michael Bloomberg (Fred Armisen), Elizabeth Warren (Kate McKinnon), Bernie Sanders (Larry David), Joe Biden (John Mulaney), Pete Buttigieg (Colin Jost), and Amy Klobuchar (Rachel Dratch).

Thompson’s Ben Carson lets the American public know they can purchase branded MAGA protective face masks, but they make take a while to arrive because they are made in Wuhan, China.

Armisen’s Bloomberg is closely trailed by Warren (McKinnon) and she quips, “Did you really think you were going to get away from me that easy? I follow you around and make your life a living hell. I might be fifth in the polls, but I’m No. 1 in your nightmares, Mike.”
