Felicity Huffman just can’t catch a break.

After recently being sentenced to 14 days in prison for her role in the college admissions bribery scandal, the veteran actress served as a punchline during the 2019 Emmys.

Actor Thomas Lennon, who served as the announcer for the awards show, delivered a not-so-subtle one-liner at Huffman’s expense during the first hour of the telecast.

“The producers have asked me to give a special shoutout to any of our previous lead actress winners who are watching tonight from prison,” Lennon said. “Hopefully those two weeks are going to fly right by. Keep your chin up.”

The award Lennon was referring to was Huffman’s 2005 victory in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category for her performance in “Desperate Housewives.”

Huffman, 56, who pled guilty to fraud in May, was emotional before receiving her sentence at US District Court in Boston earlier this month.

“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Huffman said. “I will deserve whatever punishment you give me.”
