‘Jagged Little Pill’ gets Broadway premiere date

This comes following a successful world premiere at Cambridge’s American Repertory Theater in 2018.

The Broadway production of “Jagged Little Pill’’ will begin previews Nov. 3 at the Broadhurst Theatre, it was announced Friday. The musical will officially open on Dec. 5.

News of a Broadway run for “Jagged Little Pill’’ broke in January following a successful world premiere at Cambridge’s American Repertory Theater in 2018.

Using songs from Alanis Morissette’s seminal album of the same name, the “Jagged Little Pill’’ musical is helmed by ART artistic director Diane Paulus (“Waitress,’’ “Pippin’’) and penned by Academy-Award winning writer Diablo Cody (“Juno’’).
