‘Wahlburgers’ picked up for 10th — and final — season
“Creating the Wahlburgers restaurants has been an incredible experience and we are so grateful to have shared it with A&E viewers these last nine seasons,’’ Mark Wahlberg said in a statement.
“Wahlburgers’’ is approaching its final season.
A&E network announced on Thursday that the series had been renewed, and that the 10th season would be the show’s last.
The show follows “Wahlburgers’’ co-owners and brothers Mark Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg, and Paul Wahlberg. According to A&E, Season 10 will see Mark and Paul travel to Germany on a mission to open restaurants at US military bases. The trio will also try to fulfill the dream of their mother, Alma Wahlberg, who has always wanted a Wahlburgers in Dorchester, where the Wahlbergs grew up.

The restaurant chain first opened in Hingham and has spread throughout the country, with more than 30 locations. The final season of “Wahlburgers’’ premieres at 9 p.m. May 15.
