‘Avengers: Endgame’ screenwriters will talk storytelling in Boston

The Emerson Colonial Theatre announced Wednesday morning that Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are coming to the city for a discussion on storytelling in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Markus and McFeely are the top screenwriting team behind hit Marvel films “Captain America: The First Avenger,’’ “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’’ “Captain America: Civil War,’’ “Thor: The Dark World,’’ “Avengers: Infinity War,’’ and “Avengers: Endgame,’’ which makes its US premiere April 26.
The screenwriting duo is also behind Michael Bay’s “Pain & Gain’’ (starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne “The Rock’’ Johnson, and Anthony Mackie), the first three “Chronicles of Narnia’’ films, and Marvel’s “Agent Carter’’ television series.
Tickets for the event go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and are available at emersoncolonialtheatre.com. Prices vary, but seats start at $30 with the $90 option for a pre-show meet-and-greet with Markus and McFeely.
