Chris Evans stars in the ‘Avengers’ edition of Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets

Even superheroes aren’t immune to online insults.

In a video that aired on Monday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the stars of the record-breaking box office smash “Avengers: Infinity War” read mean tweets about themselves in the latest edition of the show’s popular, long-running segment.

Among those forced to read online vitriol pointed their way were Benedict Cumberbatch (“Benedict Cumberbatch always looks like he’s had an allergic reaction to bad shrimp”), Scarlett Johansson (“scarlett johansson has the emotional range of a f****** celery i hate white people”) and Chris Evans, who cracked up while reading his (“perhaps Chris Evans is in truth a great actor but he plays Captain America like he’s a big dumb hunk of s***”).

This wasn’t the first time Evans has faced the wrath of the internet on Kimmel’s show. Evans also appeared in a 2016 Mean Tweets segment, and just like on Monday’s episode, he handled that tweeted insult (“chRIS EVANS IS A STUPID BEARDED SWEATER WEARING DUMB DORK”) quite well.
