Despite reportedly being sick with the flu, Pop singer Pink delivered a rousing rendition of the national anthem prior to the start of Super Bowl LII between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles in Minneapolis.

The honor of singing the anthem was likely extra special for Pink thanks to the presence of her favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. The singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, about 27 miles north of Philadelphia.

Pink reacted joyfully on Twitter when the Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game, clinching their Super Bowl 52 berth.
