Matt Damon just can’t stop “ruining” Jimmy Kimmel’s show.

On Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host interviewed Marvel star Chris Hemsworth about the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok and cut to a backstage camera to ask questions of Hemsworth’s costar Mark Ruffalo and director Taika Waititi.

Turns out, there was a third guest in the backstage area: Damon, doing his best to one-up Kimmel in their ongoing feud.

Hemsworth told Kimmel that Damon and his family have visited him in Australia and that Damon is his friend, but more out of pity.

“I feel sorry for him,” Hemsworth said. “He has nothing.”

Matt Damon was in the news earlier this week when a Monday Wrap story claimed that The New York Times abandoned a 2004 story about Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct and made mention that Damon called then-New York Times reporter Sharon Waxman to vouch for a Weinstein associate who, according to Waxman, helped arrange for “Weinstein’s women needs.” In an interview with Deadline, Damon denied that he tried to impact the story.
