See Gisele Bundchen strike the same pose more than two decades apart

It’s hard to say when exactly Gisele Bundchen became a true celebrity in the United States. Some may only know her from when she started dating Tom Brady in 2006. Others may remember her from when she wore the Victoria’s Secret diamond-encrusted “Red Hot Fantasy Bra” bra in 2000, which was listed by Guinness World Records as the most expensive lingerie ever created ($15 million). But almost no one in the U.S. knew who she was in 1994, during some of her earliest days as a teen model in Brazil.

On Thursday, Bundchen, 37, posted a photo on Instagram that shows a side-by-side of her wearing a white bathrobe and curlers in both 1994 and 2015, 21 years apart.

Bundchen’s caption, which translates to “Dona Florinda since 1994,” doesn’t refer to some high-end Italian modeling agency. Instead, it’s a reference to Doña Florinda, a character from the popular Mexican sitcom El Chavo Del Ocho that was well-watched throughout Latin America during the ’70s and early ’80s.
