As the Fox sideline reporter during Super Bowl 51, Erin Andrews had a prime vantage point for watching the Patriots’ historical victory. She also had a pretty good idea of how tight security was at Reliant Stadium, which is why, as she told Conan O’Brien on Wednesday, she was so shocked that the man who allegedly stole Tom Brady’s jersey was able to get away with it.

“It’s insane, because I know my fiancé tried to go work the Super Bowl [and] hold the light for me […] and he basically had to give up his whole [life] story,” Andrews said. “How is this possible, that someone could walk into the Patriots locker room and steal that jersey?”

Andrews also talked about shooting a Super Bowl edition of O’Brien’s Clueless Gamer segment with Brady, Rob Gronkowski, LeGarrette Blount, Marshawn Lynch, and Dwight Freeney. Andrews joked that even in a room full of stars, Brady commanded all the attention.

“I had such a good time with you,” Andrews told O’Brien. “And then of course Tom Brady had to show up, which was such a bummer because then all the focus went to him, and I was like, ‘Hello, I’m over here!'”
