Billy Joel is returning to Fenway Park this summer
Get ready, Boston: The Piano Man is coming back-ack-ack-ack-ack-ack to Fenway Park.
Billy Joel will play a summer concert at Friendly Fenway for the fourth consecutive summer, returning to the ballpark on Wednesday, Aug. 30, according to a press release posted on the singer’s website and a tweet from the official Fenway Park Twitter account.

“The success of Billy Joel at Fenway Park has been incredible,” said Red Sox President Sam Kennedy in the press release. “To have an artist of his talent return for the fourth consecutive year is a testament to the great following he has in New England, and we look forward to welcoming him back for what is becoming an annual tradition.”
Tickets will go on sale for the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, but American Express Card Members can purchase tickets starting Monday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. The Red Sox also announced that the Aug. 1 home game against the Cleveland Indians will be Billy Joel Night, and will feature a pregame party, Billy Joel music, and a Joel-themed commemorative item giveaway.
