Manchester by the Sea

continued its awards season dominance Wednesday, receiving four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, the most of any film this year.

The Massachusetts-set movie earned nods for Outstanding Performance in the categories of Actor (Casey Affleck), Supporting Actor (Lucas Hedges), Supporting Actress (Michelle Williams), and Cast.

Harvard graduate Natalie Portman also nabbed a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Actress for her portrayal of Jackie Onassis in Jackie.

The awards are voted on by eligible members of the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), and only feature performance-based nods, eschewing categories like Best Picture, Best Director, and those in technical disciplines like cinematography and costume design.
