Rob Gronkowski sings and channels his inner Bon Jovi in new Madden commercial

The Patriots tight end sure loves wearing goofy wigs and rocking out.

Rob Gronkowski has long spoken of his love of “party rocking.” In a new commercial for Madden NFL 17, Gronk emphasizes the “rock” part, singing along to a Madden-inspired parody of Bon Jovi’s stadium anthem “Livin’ on a Prayer” called “Catchin’ with Flair.”

Much like when the Patriots tight end went undercover as a Lyft driver in October, Gronkowski dons an absurd wig in the music video/commercial in order to match the flowing locks of the New Jersey singer (and good friend of Bob Kraft and Bill Belichick).

Gronk told Entertainment Weekly that although he would rate his singing skills as “just average,” he had a lot of fun “rock-starring it out” for Madden NFL 17, which features Gronkowski on the cover.

His only regret? Not being able to keep his outrageous rock star outfit.

“I need to get that. I need to ask Madden to ship that to me,” Gronkowski told EW. “I need the guitar, too.”
