Ben Affleck announces the title of his standalone Batman film

Ben Affleck’s upcoming Batman film has a working title, and it’s pretty straightforward.
Affleck told the Associated Press during an interview about his newest film, The Accountant, that the upcoming Caped Crusader movie will be titled The Batman.
“The movie, I think, is going to be called The Batman,” said Affleck, who is slated to write, direct, produce, and star in the film. “At least that’s what we’re going with now. I might change it.”
“We’re working on the script,” Affleck added. “The script is going well. I’m really excited about it, and I assure you, if anything develops, you’ll hear about it.”

Affleck’s newest film, The Accountant, is set to hit theaters October 14.
