Mark Wahlberg stopped by The Tonight Show on Tuesday to promote his new film Deepwater Horizon, which lands in theaters September 30. But he also dropped a bit of future film news: He’s looking to do a movie with LeBron James.
“He and I are talking about doing a movie together,” Wahlberg told Jimmy Fallon. “It’s actually a great idea.”
The (extremely vague) idea, as Wahlberg tells it, is “based in and around [a] fantasy league.”
“These guys get to go to one of these fantasy camps,” Wahlberg said, presumably meaning a camp where guys learn basketball from James, not get tips on their fantasy sports team. “And me and LeBron have a situation.”
Before talking about his film idea, Wahlberg also participated in a silly Tonight Show game, shooting watermelons at a target using a giant slingshot. Unsurprisingly, Wahlberg crushed Fallon in the competition, 45-23.
“I think you always lose intentionally,” Wahlberg told a protesting Fallon. “You’re such a nice host.”
