You can watch two of Gene Wilder’s classic films in Boston this weekend

The late actor is being honored with special screenings nationwide.

Two of Gene Wilder’s most popular films are coming back to the big screen for a special engagement.AMC Theaters announced that it will hold special screenings of Blazing Saddles and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at 55 of its theaters nationwide this weekend, including at its Boston Common location. You can catch screenings of Willy Wonka at 5 p.m. and Blazing Saddles at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for each screening will cost only $5, and are available on the theater’s website.
