John Krasinski is stopping by Boston movie theaters this weekend
The Newton-bred actor will be taking questions from local audiences following screenings of his new film ‘The Hollars.’
John Krasinski has been busy on the late-night circuit this week promoting his new film The Hollars. Now, the Newton native will be back in Boston for a series of question and answer sessions after screenings of the film.Krasinski announced the Q&As on Twitter Tuesday night, listing appearances on Friday, September 2 and Sunday, September 4 at Kendall Square Cinema in Cambridge following 7 p.m. showings of the film, and Saturday, September 3 at AMC Loews Boston Common following a 7:15 p.m. screening.

The Hollars, which stars Krasinski as a New York City artist returning to his hometown and his dysfunctional family when his mother (Margo Martindale) is stricken with a brain tumor, received a warm reception in April at the Independent Film Festival of Boston. The film opens nationwide on Friday.
