Yes, Boston fans actually offered sneakers to Sarah Silverman
The comedian previously took to Twitter to ask for shoes ahead of her two shows at The Wilbur.
Sarah Silverman performed at The Wilbur Thursday night and the comedian had a very specific request.
BOSTON! If u have extra/old basketball sneaks in 8 1/2 womens/ 7 mens /boys will I bring to the Wilbur tonight? I need to borrow

Silverman asked show-goers for a pair of size eight and a half women’s (or size seven men’s) basketball sneakers, saying she needed to borrow them for as-yet-unidentified purposes.
Though she hasn’t Tweeted about the shoes since, she got plenty of replies online.
