Bernie Sanders will reportedly appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend
There’s a pretty, pretty, pretty good chance he’ll be live from New York.
Bernie Sanders will make an appearance on the February 6 episode of Saturday Night Live, according to multiple sources.
The Washington Post, CNN, and an ABC News reporter all write that the Vermont senator will make a cameo on Saturday’s episode, which will be hosted by comedian Larry David, who played Sanders on Saturday Night Live back in October 2015.
Tad Devine, a senior adviser to Sanders, told CNN, “we’ll be live in New York.’’
By making his debut on the late-night sketch comedy show, Sanders will join the ranks of fellow Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump, both of whom have done guest spots on SNL in the past.
NBC did not immediately return a request for comment.
