This Boston Pops Star Wars playlist will awaken your inner Jedi
May the force (and tunes) be with you.
Whether you’re a casual Star Wars fan or one of the die-hard fanatics who has been camped outside AMC Loews Boston Common since 7 a.m., anyone can appreciate the glorious strains of a John Williams composition.
Now, thanks to the Boston Pops, cubicle dwellers and costumed moviegoers alike can enjoy a soundtrack of Williams’s greatest tunes with this Spotify playlist.
For those unaware, Williams served as the Boston Pops principal conductor from 1980 to 1993 and continues to serve as a laureate conductor. It was his very first concert at Symphony Hall on April 29, 1980 that Williams first introduced the world to “The Imperial March (Darth Vader’s Theme),’’ one of the most memorable melodies of the last half-century.
May the tunes be with you.
