New England is the best place to recover from a New Year’s Eve hangover, according to this infographic
Egg sandwiches and aspirin for everyone!
Whether you plan on enjoying New Year’s Eve out and about in the city or comfortably at home, there’s a chance you might imbibe a New Year’s spirit or two. But if you’re from New England, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy a lot more than one or two, according to real estate site Trulia.
Trulia’s list of cities most likely to party hard on New Year’s Eve has six New England municipalities in the top 15: Boston, Providence, Fairfield County, New Haven, Cambridge, and Worcester rank 6th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th on the list, respectively. The site determined the rankings by estimating how many late-night establishments, bars, and breweries each city had per 10,000 residents.
But lucky for us, New England is a great place to recover from hangovers as well. Worcester, New Haven, and Cambridge took the top three spots on Trulia’s Hangover Recovery rankings, with Boston, Providence, and Fairfield County finishing 5th, 6th, and 7th thanks to their high concentration of drug stores and comfort food eateries.
So raise your glasses and have a drink, New England. It may hurt in the morning, but at least we’re ready for it.
