Watch Uzo Aduba bring the crazy as Hannibal Lecter
If this woman offers you a nice Chianti, RUN AWAY.
Medfield native Uzo Aduba has been wowing audiences for several seasons with her Emmy-winning portrayal of Suzanne “Crazy Eyes’’ Warren on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black.
Given that Crazy Eyes frequently toes the line between endearing and insane, Aduba was a natural pick to perform as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs for Glamour magazine’s “Role Reversal’’ series, in which the magazine chose actresses to reprise iconic film roles originally played by men.

Along with Aduba’s Hannibal Lecter, the magazine also had Abigail Breslin and Julia Garner deliver monologues as Tyler Durden in Fight Club and Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood, respectively.
Though Breslin and Garner’s takes on roles made famous by Brad Pitt and Daniel Day Lewis are excellent, Aduba’s reimagining of Sir Anthony Hopkins’s Oscar-winning performance takes the cake.
Because no one does crazy like Crazy Eyes.
